RevierGestalten –
Exhibition design for the industrial museum
The large special exhibition "RevierGestalten - von Orten und Menschen" at the LWL-Industriemuseum Zeche Zollern (Zollern Coal Mine Industrial Museum) focused on places of change as a multimedia exhibition experience and also on the people who create them.
We were allowed to conceptualize and create the exhibition design and scenography. The show extended over 600 square meters of exhibition space over two floors and shows the transformation of the Ruhr region around the decline of coal mining. Visitors browse through abandoned coal mines, experience urban participation yesterday and today, and immerse themselves in family stories.

The exhibition in the historic colliery was created in close cooperation with our friends from the Bande für Gestaltung.
Old familiar objects from the coal-mining world as well as seating landscapes made of Euro pallets as a symbol of urban participation.
